Q. How much does Super Suppers cost?

Prices average $3 to $3.50 a serving, depending on location. We provide everything you need to take your entrées home – just show up to a session and you are taken care of. Many of our customers tell us they save money on their monthly grocery bill by using Super Suppers.

Q. How do I schedule to attend a Super Suppers session?
First choose your location. Next, click on the calendar to see the schedule of your Super Suppers store. We make it so easy for you to visit Super Suppers and offer many different times for you to choose from.

Q. Do I have to pre-register to attend Super Suppers?

No way! We are here to make your life easier – not more complicated. We do have sessions where you will have to pre-register, but we also offer walk-in days many times throughout the week. You can just pop in and make as many or as few entrées as you like. This varies by location, so check the calendar of your own Super Suppers store.

Q. Can I bring a friend or spouse with me to my scheduled session?

Of course. We love having spouses and friends attend. We do ask that you bring only one friend with you so we don’t become too crowded.

Q. Can I schedule a private session?

Yes, our private parties are the talk of the town. Just call your local Super Suppers location to pick your date and schedule your private party. As the hostess, you have the opportunity to receive some entrées for free!

Q. What size are the entrées?

Our large size contains 6 or more servings, depending on which entrée it is. Our half size contains 3 or more servings, depending on which entrée it is.

Q. How many do the entrées feed?
This depends on the size and ages of your eaters. When our entrées include chicken breasts or pork chops, we give six pieces of meat for the large size and three pieces of meat for the half size. In many families, three pieces of meat will serve 4 people if the parents each have one piece and the kids are small eaters who split the other.

Q. Can I split the entrées into smaller portions?
Absolutely! Our full-size entrées feed up to 6. If your family can’t eat that much food, we provide all that you need to take our full-size entrées and split them into two smaller containers. Super Suppers

Q. Can I reschedule my session?
Yes you can. Please notify us within 48 hours of your scheduled session and we will be happy to reschedule for a new date and time.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
If you cannot attend your session, we will reschedule you for another time or will assemble your entrées for a minimal charge.

Q. Can I bring my children to a session?

We love children and know that many of our customers have children. However, due to health code restrictions, children under the age of 12 cannot attend a session. Many of our locations offer sessions and camps for children so they can experience the wonderful world of Super Suppers. Call your local store for details.

Q. How much time does Super Suppers save me each month?

Super Suppers saves 20 to 30 hours each month. We eliminate the hours you would spend trying to figure out what to cook (menu planning), grocery shopping (all you do now is grab bags of salad and a few side items), reading recipes, prepping ingredients, running back to the grocery store for a recipe ingredient you forgot, cleaning up your prep area, and in many cases, you get to throw away the pan! You also GAIN 1 ½ to 2 hours of relaxation, fun and fellowship each month!

All About Food
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q.
What is the best way to defrost my entrées?

The proper way to defrost any frozen food is to store it in your refrigerator for 24 - 48 hours so it can thoroughly defrost. Defrosting food by leaving it on the kitchen counter at room temperature has the advantage of speed, but it also has the disadvantage of allowing for bacteria and spoilage, so we do not recommend this method. We do allow for defrosting in the microwave, but this is only second-best and should be done with care. Over-microwaving can cause the edges of the food to overcook.

Q. How long can a thawed entrée stay in the fridge?

Completely thawed seafood dishes should be stored in the refrigerator no longer than 24 hours before cooking. Other completely thawed entrées can be stored up to 2 days.

Q. How long can an entrée stay frozen?

We recommend no longer than 2 months.

Q. Do entrées come with side dishes?

Some entrées come with a side. We consider each entrée individually and determine if a side would be appropriate. We also offer side dishes that you can purchase. Check with your local Super Suppers location for details.

Q. Is nutritional information provided?
Yes. We provide nutritional information for each of our entrées and side dishes. You can find the nutritional information on our Web site for the monthly entrées. These nutritionals are calculated by a registered Diet Tech with the American Dietetic Association who has a BA in Foods and Nutrition and has 29 years of experience in the food and nutrition industry.

Q. Can I substitute some ingredients for others?

You may substitute ingredients if they are available in other entrées that month. If you would like to take the meat out of a dish, you may substitute any vegetable or starch from any of the other prep bars. If you would like to substitute chicken for pork in our monthly entrées, please call ahead and tell us so we have enough chicken for your meals.

Q. Can I use Super Suppers entrées if I have a severe food allergy?
We do not guarantee that any of our entrées will be safe for any allergy. Call your local Super Suppers store and they will be happy to work with you to help determine the ingredients in each entrée.

Q. What options do you have for vegetarians?
Each month we include several dishes that are either vegetarian or can easily be changed to become vegetarian. For instance, in many of our dishes, the meat can be left out and substituted with vegetables, beans or a starch such as rice.

Q. Does Super Suppers work for me if I am on a special diet such as Atkins, South Beach or Weight Watchers?
We offer nutritionals for all of our entrées so you can integrate them into your lifestyle, no matter what that may be. While we do not design our menus around any of these diets because our meals are designed for the whole family, many of our entrées can be eaten by those on different diets. Check the nutritionals to determine carbs, proteins, fats, etc.

Q. Can I order more than two of an entrée?
We do limit the number of each entrée to two. If you would like to order more of an entrée, please call your local Super Suppers location for details.
