Green Rice with Chicken, Peas and Almonds

Description:

Add a little flavor to warm up your evenings. Succulent chicken breast, green peas, almonds, and basil pesto seasoned Uncle Ben's Long Grain Rice® will do the trick. Stovetop: 15 - 20 minutes thawed, 25 minutes frozen.

Cooking Instructions

Preparation:  Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen defrost in microwave.

 

Cooking Instructions:  Heat a large skillet on medium high heat. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil (1 tablespoon for Regular entree) and cook chicken 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through, or until browned on both sides and internal temperature reads 165F on instant read thermometer. Add bag of rice mixture to skillet, cover and cook 5 minutes or until hot.
