Beef Bourguignon

Description:

Memories of Julia Child inspire this classic French-style beef stew. Now you can make it at home - with ease. Impress family and friends . . . and yourself! Stovetop: 60 minutes for stew; 10 minutes for noodles.

Preparation:  Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen, defrost slightly in microwave before cooking.

 

Cooking Instructions:  Preheat sauce pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and brown beef tips. Add sauce and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook slowly for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove cover, turn heat up to medium and continue to cook for 15 minutes or until beef reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Serve Beef Bourguignon over noodles. Noodles: Bring 8 cups water to a boil and add noodles. Boil 8-10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
